Smoked Tequila & Margaritas Recipe

Smoked Tequila & Margaritas Recipe
Are you ready for the weekend? Get that Bradley smoker up and running and try something different! Have you ever thought of smoking your favourite drink?

Ingredients

-Tequila

-3/4 ounce fresh lime juice

-1/2 ounce Agave nectar

-Ice

-Margarita glass

-Fresh Lime

-Salt

Directions

Pour the tequila into the steel pot or pan, preferably a shallow one, allowing the smoke to contact the most surface area possible.

Place the tequila in your smoker and smoke for 30-40 minutes with Apple Bisquettes.

If using a cold smoker, you will not lose much tequila to evaporation. However, if you do have a little bit of heat coming off of your burner without a cold smoke adapter,  make sure to let the tequila cool completely.

For your margarita, shake 2 ounces smoked tequila, ½ ounce agave nectar and ¾ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice with ice. Strain over fresh ice into a Margarita glass. Rim the glass with salt or garnish with a fresh lime wheel.

Depending on the size of your tequila batches.. You might want to get a big jug of water ready for tomorrow 😉
