Chili chicken is a very popular dish and has a variety of preparations. This version features the perfect balance between sweet and spicy seasonings. Follow the instructions and learn how to make it in a few steps. For the smoking, we used hickory wood and it worked just fine.
Ingredients
4-5 chicken breasts
For rub
¼ cup brown sugar
1 ½ tbsp kosher salt
½ tbsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp chili flakes

Directions
- Preheat smoker to 225°F with Hickory Bisquettes.
- Cube chicken breast.
- Mix together ingredients for rub.
- Toss chicken in rub and place in aluminum baking trays.
- Smoke for 1-2 hours (depending on the size of the cubed chicken) until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.
