Smoked Sloppy Joes are simple sandwiches that are a comfort food favorite. Smoking the ground beef and adding a basic sauce makes this simple dish even more tasty!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp tomato paste
½ onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp oil
1 cup canned tomatoes
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp Dijon
1 Tbsp Worcestershire
1 tsp cayenne
Salt & Pepper to taste
4 buns

Directions
- Heat oil in a cast iron pan.
- Sauté onions, garlic and ground beef until beef is browned.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Preheat smoker to 200°F-250°F with Mesquite Bisquettes and place cast iron pan in smoker.
- Smoke for 1 ½ – 2 hours and serve hot on your favorite buns.
